High pulse energy, femtosecond fiber laser for two-photon imaging

Abstract

We demonstrate an all-fiber thulium-doped laser system that can generate 105-nJ pulses with a repetition rate of 21 MHz at 1890nm. The amplified pulses can be compressed to a pulse duration of 280 fs.
