Observation of resonance cloaking with vanishing capacitance in terahertz multilayer metasurfaces

Abstract

We propose a novel capacitance cancellation technique (CCT) in concentrically coupled THz multilayer metasurfaces. Anti-parallel surface current at resonating frequency and strong near-field coupling result cloaked response of constituent resonators.
