On the Correctness of the Polarization-Induced Orbital Angular Momentum Field in Optical Fibers

Abstract

We demonstrate the correctness of the recently derived analytic expression for the polarization-induced orbital angular momentum field in a multilayered fiber via numerical calculations of its contribution to polarization corrections.
