Abstract

We theoretically and experimentally study integration of the dielectric photonic crystal slab (as a photonic microcavity) and gold nanorod (as a plasmonic nanoantenna) as an exemplary photonic-plasmonic hybrid system for highly cooperative near-field enhancement.
