Surface Plasmon Polariton Generation in a Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube

Abstract

A model of surface plasmon polariton generator based on a single-walled carbon nanotube with DC current pump is proposed. High quality of carbon nanotube as a resonator is achieved due to modulation of the phase velocity of the surface plasmon polariton wave along the nanotube.
