Multimode supercontinuum generation in As2S3 chalcogenide photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

The mid-infrared supercontinuum generation spanning 2 to 4 µm at −40 dB for mode HE11 is obtained in multimode As2S3 photonic crystal fiber. Energy transfer occurs only with long pulses between modes with comparable geometries.
