Experimental and theoretical study of single-mode 1018 nm ytterbium-doped fiber laser with 100 W output power

Abstract

This work theoretically and experimentally demonstrates one hundred-watt and near single-mode of the 1018 nm ytterbium-doped fiber laser (YDFL). Amplified spontaneous emission effect in YDFL can be suppressed, which agrees with the simulations.
