Nonlinear Optical Characterization of Gorilla® Glass Waveguides

Abstract

In this work, we studied the third order optical nonlinearity of waveguides produced in Gorilla® Glass through the Dispersive-scan technique. Our results indicate that the nonlinear refractive index of the compression layer in Gorilla® Glass is close to the one for fused silica.
