Entanglement enabled synthetic aperture in decohering environments

Abstract

We propose a protocol for synthesizing large apertures in interferometry using imperfectly entangled quantum states shared between remote telescopes. The protocol implementation is feasible in practical environments and can provide high-resolution images of distant sources.
