Effects of Fog in Free-Space Optics Communication System

Abstract

We demonstrated experimental results of fog effects in Free Space Optics (FSO) communication system in visible and near-infrared for different relative humidity. Ultrashort pulses and eye diagram analysis indicate acceptable transmission requirements at 90% RH.
