Abstract

We report the characterization of highly nonlinear GeSbS chalcogenide glass integrated waveguides. Linear and nonlinear measurements were performed in the telecom window (around 1550 nm wavelength), showing a remarkable performance. These results illustrate the potential of As-free chalcogenide waveguides for the implementation of demanding photonics applications.
