Brillouin scattering induced transparency and non-reciprocal light storage

Abstract

The Brillouin scattering induced transparency in a high quality optical microresonantor is experimentally demonstrated. Due to the phase matching condition, the circulating acoustic phonon leads to non-reciprocal light storage and retrieval.
