Surface – lattice resonances in 2d arrays of spheres: multipolar couplings and normal modes

Abstract

We present a multipolar model of the surface – lattice resonances in arrays of spheres. We show the importance of couplings between multipoles of different polarity and characterize the dispersion of multipolar modes.
