Simulating Phase-Only Pupil Plane Masks for Laser Suppression

Abstract

A phase-only pupil plane mask is tested to protect sensors from powerful coherent radiation. Masks are simulated to reduce the peak irradiance of the point spread function while images are reconstructed in post processing.
