Abstract

Analytical expressions of a radially polarized partially coherent twist beam propagating in uniaxial crystal have been derived based on the unified theory of coherence and polarization. It is found that both the twist factor and the ratio of the extraordinary refractive indices to the ordinary refractive indices affect its average intensity, the degree and state of polarization.
