Abstract

We present a smartphone based analytical device for detecting sub nano-watt level of radiant flux. A 3D printed optical cradle was designed for increasing a detection level of low light. To improve the signal to noise ratio (SNR) level, a new algorithm named Noise Reduction by Ensemble averaging (NREA) was developed. Experiments with LED light show its validity of our device and algorithm.
