Abstract

Our recent measurement of the Lamb shift in the exotic muonic hydrogen atom yielded a proton charge radius Rp=0.84087(39) fm. This is ten times more accurate, but 7σ discrepant from the world average using electrons. Here we report on new measurements in muonic deuterium and helium.
