Visualization of Charge Carrier Dynamics in Semiconductor Nanowires Using Pump-Probe Microscopy

Abstract

Spatially resolved pump-probe microscopy is used to image carrier transport in individual nanowires. Diffusion of charge carriers in Si nanowires and charge separation in a nanowire encoded with an axial p-i-n junction will be discussed.
