Superluminality Effect due to Femtosecond Laser Pulse Self-Trapping by the Nanorods Melting Front

Abstract

We show a possibility for superluminality effect at a femtosecond pulse propagation in a medium with gold nanorods under the nanorods melting and a positive phase-amplitude grating, induced by laser radiation.
