Cavity QED in Quantum Dot-photonic Crystal Nanocavity Coupled Systems

Abstract

We discuss solid-state cavity QED with quantum-dots embedded in high-Q photonic crystal nanocavities for advanced quantum-dot light sources, including single artificial atom lasers, nano-cavity-based self-frequency conversion lasers, and spontaneous two photon emitters.
