Abstract

Evanescent wave cavity ring-down absorption spectroscopy is applied to investigate thermodynamics, kinetics, orientation of the substrates on the surface, probe critical hemimicelle concentration of surfactants, and examine interaction and binding kinetics of DNA strands.
