Abstract

First observations of intense magnetic scattering in GGG crystals and several organic liquids are compared with quantum theory of quadratic magneto-electric nonlinearities on L = 0 → L = 1 transitions of atoms/molecules, with important implications for energy conversion and high-frequency magnetism.
