Opto-Mechanical Interaction in Flexible Photonic Crystals

Abstract

Interaction between optical and mechanical degrees of freedom in photonic crystal nanobeam cavities, and their application in programmable filter, will be discussed. Progress towards control of Casimir force using repulsive optical forces will be presented.
