The Role of Nuclear Modes in Coupled Electronic Systems: Quantum Coating, Vibronic Modulation, or Quantum-Dissipative Energy Flow?

Abstract

The modulation of electronic dynamics by nuclear modes in a phthalocyanine dimer has been investigated by 2D-ES. Quantum-dissipative relaxation between the two excited states on 20 fs timescale is mediated by a 700 cm−1mode.
