Investigating Energy Transfer in the Bacterial Reaction Center with 2D Electronic Spectroscopy

Abstract

Two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy was employed on the reaction center from purple bacteria. These experiments resolve previously inseparable transitions and investigate the timescales and mechanisms of energy transfer between the newly revealed states.
