Refractive nonlinear response in thin nonlocal nonlinear media

Abstract

We present a model to describe purely refractive local or nonlocal nonlinear response in thin media with any magnitude of photoinduced phase shift. The results are in agreement with self phase modulation and Z-scan experiments.
