Deterministic Entanglement of Two Neutral Atoms Using Rydberg Blockade

Abstract

We demonstrate a neutral atom CNOT gate using Rydberg state mediated interactions. The gate is used to deterministically create entangled Bell states with a fidelity of F=0.71, without correcting for loss of atoms.
