New limit on Lorentz and CPT violation for neutrons

Abstract

We use a K-3He co-magnetometer to constrain neutron spin coupling to a Lorentz and CPT violating background field arising in many models of quantum gravity, |bn|<3.7×10−33 GeV, improving previous limit by a factor of 30.
