Abstract

Nanorose is used to target macrophages in atherosclerotic plaques. Experimental measurement and simulation of nanorose absorption (σa) and scattering (σs) cross-sections give, respectively, σa = (3.1±0.5)×10−14 m2 and σas = 10.5.
