Nanohybrid POSS-Copolymers as Advanced Solid-State Lasers

Abstract

We report on efficient and highly photostable solid-state lasers based on dye-doped polymer crosslinked with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) nanoparticles. Mechanisms for the improved laser action induced by the POSS presence will be discussed.
