Ion Conductance Microscopy of Nanometer Pores

Abstract

Scanning ion conductance microscopy was used to interrogate ion currents emanating from nanometer-scale pores of a polymer membrane. Transport activity of individual pores was measured from ion current images and corresponding topographic images recorded simultaneously.
