Many-Body Interactions in a Restricted Dimensionality Sample of Ultracold Rydberg Atoms

Abstract

We study interactions among atoms in an ultracold Rydberg sample. Exciting a long thin tube of atoms restricts the sample's dimensionality, allowing us to explore the transition between two- and many- body interactions. NSF grant #0134676.
