Optically-Controlled Growth of Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract

Controllable growth and integration of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) were achieved using an optically controlled approach. By applying optical near-field effects in a laser-assisted chemical vapor deposition process, controllable growth of SWNTs was realized.
