Abstract

Nd:YAG transparent ceramics were fabricated by reactive sintering method. The influence of dopant concentration on optical and luminescence properties of ceramics was studied. Laser emission at 1.06 µm under pumping with diode lasers was obtained. Slope efficiency of 58% was achieved from 2.0-at% Nd:YAG.
