Digital holography in monitoring and analysis of smooth elongated disturbances

Abstract

The procedure is presented aimed for holographic recording and reconstruction of long traveling phase disturbances with smooth low-amplitude phase variations. Experimental validation is performed on monitoring of bulk nonlinear strain waves in a solid waveguide.
