Annealing of Gold Films on TFBGs

Abstract

Tilted fiber Bragg gratings have been used to investigate structure changes on electroless plated gold thin films before and after annealing. Changes in intensity and refractive index sensitivity can be useful to model the permittivity as a function of morphology.
