Abstract
Space optics is present in almost all instruments embarked in spatial missions. Among others large-aperture long-focal length optical systems, spectrometers and visible/IR cameras are common instruments. Operation in the hostile spatial environment requires an exhaustive on-ground integration and verification campaign where optical, electro-optical and radiometric performances shall be verified. Determination of suitable facilities, means, support equipments and process are fundamental for the mission success. A review of INTA experience and capabilities in this field are presented.
