Measuring the Impulse Response Function in Nonlinear Optics

Abstract

We review advances in nonlinear optical materials characterization and the improvements in understanding that have resulted. In many cases, the “nonlinear” optical response can be analyzed in ways that are usually reserved for linear systems.
