Stationary Perturbation Theory applied to Linear and Non-Linear Analysis in Multi-mode Optical-Fiber

Abstract

Application of the stationary perturbation-theory to compute propagation constant in multi-mode optical-fibers is discussed when azimuthally-distributed perturbations are considered. Maximum error about 0.06% has been found for the cases of study when compared with numerical approaches.
