Experimental Characterization of Pump Power and Detuning in Microresonator Frequency Combs

Abstract

We present an experimental characterization of the operating regimes of optical Kerr frequency combs in the pump power and frequency detuning parameter space of silicon nitride microring resonators. We show the behavior of the optical spectrum, intensity noise and comb power of each operation region.
