Abstract

We report what is to the best of our knowledge the first transmission of an atomic frequency standard through an optical fiber link in Brazil. We use the scientific network Kyatera, and characterized the transmission through a local, 2 km link inside the campus of the Campinas State University (UNICAMP). The transmission of a Rubidium frequency standard is characterized via Allan deviation and phase measurements.
