Abstract

In this paper, HDPE and LDPE films were exposed to UV-B radiation (320-280 nm) at different exposure times. The effects of UV-B radiation in samples of HDPE and LDPE were characterized using infrared Spectroscopy. UV-B radiation causes the formation of fotodegradation products like vinyl and carbonyl groups.
