Kinetics of Photobleaching of Methylene Blue in a Collagen Matrix in the Absence and Presence of Isolated Rat Liver Mitochondria

Abstract

Collagen matrix simulates the cytoskeleton net and mitochondrion is the real organelle. Was demonstrated that the compartmentalization of Methylene Blue can modulates the photobleaching, due to Methylene Blue aggregation states and by interaction with biomolecules.
