A Smart Window for Solar Energy Co-utilization

Abstract

Aiming at thermal comfort and integrated to the building envelope, a low-emissivity, double-glazed window is presented, with adjustable blinds and spectrally selective heat reflection, which allows illumination control and climate-adaptive co-utilization of the reflected infrared.
