Multimode Interference All-Fiber Sensors

Abstract

Fiber optic structures based on multimode interference were investigated to strain, curvature, refractive index and temperature sensing. Devices sensitivity and spectral profile were analyzed both experimentally and numerically. Tapered structures were also explored.
