The determination of biochemical changes of women skin layers as function of aging by Confocal Raman Spectroscopy

Abstract

The biochemical changes that occurred during the aging process were studied by Confocal Raman spectroscopy. The spectra were obtained for the forearm of 50 health women. The spectral variations were quantified using the vibration modes for skin components.
