Assessment of Camera-Based 2D Phosphor Surface Thermometry in a Gas Turbine Model Combustor

Abstract

2D phosphor thermometiy for wall temperature measurements in a gas turbine model combustor is experimentally assessed. Temperature-dependent and spatially resolved decay times were recorded using a high-speed CMOS camera and the measurement accuracy is discussed.
