Quantitative measurement of the volatile anesthetic agents and respiratory gases during anesthesia by a compact, robust and mobile sensor based on linear Raman scattering

Abstract

This study presents a fully functional optical sensor for anesthetic agents based on spontaneous Raman scattering which offers several advantages in comparison to established systems. The system performance is compared to a conventional monitoring system.
