Compact Femtosecond Lasers and Applications in Photothermal Spectroscopy

Abstract

Compact femtosecond fiber lasers and frequency comb technology at telecommunication wavelengths are presented. Integration of such a robust fiber probe laser into photothermal microspectroscopy for chemical and biological samples is demonstrated.
