Diode Laser-Based Measurements for Hypersonic Engine Research

Abstract

Diode laser-based absorption and non-resonant transmission measurements provide a means to gather in-stream data of hypersonic flow paths. Our recent efforts at addressing mass capture and dynamics associated with shock train movement are presented.
